Makeup Revolution is a brand that has brought out many different eyeshadow palettes. One of them being Iconic 3. Now this is a brand, that does try to bring out dupes for other brands and I have often seen many people commenting on how much some of their palettes look like Urban Decay's Naked palettes.
Makeup Revolution have three palettes out - Iconic 1, 2 and 3. I'm a big fan of Urban Decay and have their Naked 1, 2 and Smoky palettes. I don't have Naked 3. By looks alone there is a similarity between the Iconic and Naked palettes. The colors look similar and are laid out in exactly the same order. While the colors look the same the packaging is a lot different. The Iconic 3 one doesn't have the nice hardwearing feel and quality that Naked does. There is also no proper eyeshadow brush either, but instead sponge tipped applicators.
Pigment wise this palette really isn't bad, especially as it only costs £4. The pigment isn't on the same level as Urban Decay but for a £4 palette, it's quite good. The colors built up nicely and blended easily, plus they stayed on all day and didn't crease.
I used the paler colors as base or highlighters and then applied the darker colors on top. This is a palette that offers colors to suit everyone, from natural to dramatic.
I quite liked this palette and for those on a budget it is definitely a good choice if you cannot get any of the Urban Decay Naked palettes.
